The Challenge

UVANU’s old website did not reflect its new brand identity and felt outdated for its young, global audience. They needed a fully redesigned site that felt modern, youthful, and easy to use — with custom booking and quiz features.

Client Context

Client

UVANU — an international agency helping young adults study or immigrate to Canada.

Target Audience

Ages 18–35, diverse backgrounds: Spanish, Filipino, Brazilian, Korean, and more.

Goal

Rebrand & modernize the website, shifting the focus more toward education.

My Role

  • UX/UI Designer (Figma)
  • WordPress Designer & Developer
  • Third-party integrations (Calendly, Jotform)
  • Project management with the client & Synic Software

The Solution

  • Key Deliverables
  • Rebrand: Implemented UVANU’s new brand guide (colors, typography, imagery).
  • Fully custom Figma mockup — matched pixel-perfect in WordPress.
  • WordPress development with mobile-first esponsive design.
  • Calendly booking system integration.
  • Evaluation quiz built with Jotform: quiz logic redirects users based on results.
  • Editable Google Reviews feed (team can update reviews in backend).
  • Full backend access for UVANU to manage updates, photos, and blog content after launch.

The Process

  • Step 1 — Plan
    • Kick-off call with UVANU & Synic to clarify goals, access, and deliverables.
    • Gathered new brand guide and demographic details.

    Step 2 — Design

    • Created detailed Figma mockups mirroring the new look and feel.
    • Focused on youthful visuals and simple navigation.

    Step 3 — Build

    • Developed the new site in WordPress.
    • Integrated Calendly for booking calls.
    • Built the evaluation quiz logic in Jotform.
    • Connected backend for Google Reviews.

    Step 4 — Review & Launch

    • Ran client reviews throughout — at mockup, midway, and final test.
    • Delivered training on WordPress backend so the UVANU team can edit content themselves.
    • Launched successfully, fully optimized for mobile and multilingual users.

Key Features

  • New modern brand identity applied site-wide
  • Mobile-friendly responsive design
  • Calendly booking system embedded
  • Jotform quiz with redirect logic
  • Editable Google Reviews block
  • Full backend access for updates & blogging

The mint green anchors the brand to its logo and mission, symbolizing growth and international welcome.
Coral adds a friendly burst of energy, while the blue and gray tones provide stability and legibility.
Together, they create a balanced, professional look that works seamlessly across digital, print, and social — while meeting accessibility standards for clear, readable content.
